Tablets of Stone

Some time ago, shortly after the development of language and the change of lifestyle that allowed people time to talk about ideas, humanity came to realise that there were things that could not be explained with current knowledge.

The search for knowledge gave birth to what we know today as Science and Religion, and the two have never been easy bedfellows. One follows the Rational path, the other the Spiritual or Intuitive one, and each individual must make up their own mind how much to take from the teachings of each group, as there is often a significant disparity of viewpoint.

Individual choices are rarely dangerous until the individual seeks to convince others that their particular mix is the correct one, and that other viewpoints are to be rejected and in some cases suppressed.

This link will take you to the Foreword of a book that I am writing that is my take on how we came to reach such a state of affairs.
